Mos Def, Slug (of Atmosphere) & Brother Ali are my top 3 favorite individual hip hop artists so getting to see Mos Def last night at The Belasco in Downtown LA (for only $25/ticket via Goldstar!) was quite a treat!
The unusually ornate theater was PACKED so my girl, Sarah, & I didn't have the best spot in the crowd & the audio sounded a bit muffled but we still had a great time & it was evident Mos Def aka Yasiin Bey aka Dante Terrell Smith was showing everyone there quite clearly WHAT IT IS.
